We strongly believe that the knowledge and insight we are receiving by going through the Wisconsin Forward Award process will strengthen our credit union and allow us to better serve our Members.

The Baldrige framework is a proven means to better outcomes—and we all want that for our students. The Education Criteria focus our organization on the right things: the questions guide me as a leader and all of us in our organization to think more deeply about how we can make our organization operate best in order to be successful.

The WI Forward Program provides invaluable feedback to the organization regarding our strengths and areas of opportunity in relation to our alignment with the Baldrige Criteria.

The Baldrige Criteria and WFA processes required staff get together and communicate beyond normal business duties to answer questions like why are we doing what we do, what does the customer want, how can we do things better and more efficiently, etc. These discussions improve our staff engagement and enhances internal communication, breaks down Silos ("A lot happens in the space between the Silos") and helps us achieve our overall GHC goal of delivering "Superb Care and Impeccable Service."
