AOT Cooperative Marketing Program
The AOT Cooperative Marketing Program is designed specifically for rural destination marketing organizations (DMOs), regional partnerships, statewide tourism associations and tribal entities to participate in.
Through the AOT Cooperative Marketing Program’s opportunities, participants can drive visitation to Arizona's rural and tribal destinations. The program features a variety of offerings that include research, strategy, content creation/SEO, SEM, integrated marketing campaigns, online, print, outdoor, and AOT publications and trade & media missions.
The next campaign runs from September 1, 2023 to August 31, 2024.
Arizona's DMOs, regional partnerships, statewide tourism associations and tribal entities are invited to apply. AOT welcomes regional partnerships between metro DMOs, rural DMOs and Tribes. Qualifying applicants will receive matched rates. Budget allocations are contingent upon AOT's available funding.
DMO is defined as an incorporated not-for-profit organization or governmental unit that is responsible for the tourism promotion and marketing of a destination on a year-round basis. Only one DMO can participate per city, town or region. Rural DMOs are defined as any DMO located in counties with less than 3,000,000 residents as determined by the 2020 Decennial Census. An entity cannot participate in both Prop 302 and Rural Co-op.
